Hidden within the Tramuntana mountain range in Mallorca, Spain, are The Olive Houses—a pair of beautifully designed spaces that integrate elements of the surrounding landscape while supplying their inhabitants with a peaceful atmosphere that allows them to forget the distractions that come with daily life.
Within the spaces, Mar Plus Ask, the design team behind The Olive Houses, includes a bed, an overhead shower, a small bathroom, and a communal outdoor kitchen—which features a wood-fire oven and a pair of gas burners. However, visitors will need to source their water from the nearby spring. The Olive Houses' matching pink walls, ceilings and flooring are made from stucco, which Mar Plus Ask builds around large section of boulder.
