These street lamps by Russian designer Olesya Smirnova are both futuristic and innovative. Entitled Twist, these torches are colorful, creative and eco-friendly. Conceptualized to add dynamism and a new look to otherwise boring city lamps, these torches are slender and intriguing because of their modern shape and ergonomic design.

Supported by a metal pole, this lamp has, as its name suggests, a twisted body and a windmill on top. The best part about this object is that it can used for several energy sources -- electricity, solar, wind and batteries -- to function. Additionally, its program can be setup to illuminate in different colors; the windmill creates a colorful spiral effect.

Twist by Olesya Smirnova is a phenomenal lamp that protects the environment while artistically decorating public spaces. Smirnova specializes in architecture, interior and industrial design.
