— September 8, 2021 — Art & Design
Nao Tamura is a New-York based Japanese designer who created the Turn and Turn+ lamp collection. The family of lighting consists of a series of rechargeable and portable lamps. Each lamp provides up to 500 hours of light on a single charge.

Tamura created the collection for Ambientec, a Japanese brand. Combining high-tech lighting with artisanal craftsmanship, the lamp series is made from fine materials. The detailed pieces boast a cordless design, allowing users to transport them to any desired area. With elegant metallic forms, the lamps are juxtaposed with a soft, candle-like glow. Integrated touch sensors are activated through a gentle tap on the lampshades to adjust the intensity of the light for all occasions.
