Although Off-White got its start with graphic t-shirts, the 2017 Off-White Ready-to-Wear collection shows a maturation of the brand's youthful spirit.
The first pieces to make their debut on the runway featured tailored houndstooth crop tops, trousers and topcoats, some of which were layered with chiffon dresses and paired with sneakers. Following the unveiling of these youthfully reinvented garments, the Off-White fashion collection was rounded out by a few styles featuring tiger-striped denim and humorous accessories like black boots labeled "FOR WALKING."
The Off-White Ready-to-Wear collection titled 'Nothing New' speaks to some of the harsh criticism that the designer recently received. On this, designer Virgil Abloh says: "I have this issue with thinking that you’re going to invent a garment in 2017."
