An abandoned bridge on the Reggio Calabria Highway in Italy will be repurposed for an eco condominium complex as the Off Architecture Solar Park South. In collaboration with Phillippe Rizzotti, the winners of the competition have proposed using the decommissioned structure as its shell for an entire teetering sustainable village with, let's face it, an incredible view of the landscape.
Proposing a sophisticated system of rainwater collection, graywater recycling, a geothermal generator and byproduct methane heating, the Off Architecture Solar Park South is an exemplary planned community.
