Square Enix announced 'Octopath Traveler 2,' a high-definition, two-dimensional RPG game for the 'Nintendo Switch' console. This is the sequel to 2019's Octopath Traveler, a narrative-driven, eight-character RPG available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
In remaining true to Octopath Traveler 1, and the title of the game itself, Octopath Traveler 2 will feature eight main characters, each with a unique story and personality, and each playable at a different point in the game. Players will embark on a long storyline while learning more about the world and the motivations of each character.
In addition to the story, though, some of the largest commendations for Octopath Traveler are awarded to its artistic expression. The game has a beautiful original soundtrack and detailed 'HD 2D' environments, combined with excellent art design that creates a truly modern 2D experience.
