Traditional tents are for adventurists with no imagination; the Nube Hammock Shelter turns camping into a whole new experience. It combines the comfort of swing beds with the practical protecting nature of tents. By doing so, people can imagine themselves as a Robinson Crusoe of sorts. Compatible with any camping hammock, it's a better shelter than leaves and branches, that's for sure.
Designed by Richard G. Rhett Jr., the founder of camping gear manufacturer Sierra Madre Research, the Nube Hammock Shelter also boasts a mesh Insect Shield to keep the bugs out as well as a Gear Storage area that keeps precious items elevated off the ground yet in easy reach. The Nube Hammock Shelter is currently on Kickstarter vying for funds.
