Game Day Beer Cans

Guinness Brings Back Its Notre Dame Can

Guinness reintroduced a limited-edition Notre Dame Draught can as part of its renewed partnership with Notre Dame Athletics for another three seasons, featuring the Football Leprechaun mark on the packaging for the first time. The rollout coincides with the brand extending its relationship with Notre Dame and re-signing Joe Montana as a longtime ambassador.

The can nods to the shared histories of the two institutions and appears in a wider set of markets this season. Over the next three years Montana will appear at events to pour pints and will collaborate with the Guinness Gives Back program to support local organizations off the field.

For fans the can offers a physical, collectible way to mark game-day gatherings and tap into tradition. The pack also reinforces Guinness’s focus on in-person experiences and community programming tied to sports.
