Roots' Northern Light Fashion Show Featured Ultrasonic Sound Waves

Roots Canada dazzled the audience in its most recent Northern Light fashion show, which combined looks from the brand's holiday collection with music, art and technology, creating one unforgettable experience.

The audience was asked to download the brand's live app prior to the show, in order to streamline their personal retail experience. The models walked across the stage to the sound of a curated playlist which was designed with a specialized ultrasonic sound wave technology. The musical sound waves prompted the app to display the clothes the model was wearing, enabling the guest to shop the collection in real-time. To make maters even more convenient, Roots partnered with MasterPass by Mastercard, offering the audience a streamlined, one-click check-out.

The Northern Light Fashion show drew upon elements of fashion, technology and art, resulting in a uniquely fine-tuned and future-focused experience.
