Building on its wine and spirits empire, Wölffer Estate Vineyard is debuting a new drink called the No. 139 Red Cider for the fall season. But unlike other ciders, Wölffer's unique blend boasts a bright red hue that alludes to the sweet apples used in its making.
No. 139 Red Cider is a seasonal drink that celebrates Wölffer 30th anniversary. The drink is described as "a fresh, vibrant, cider made exclusively from New York State dessert apples grown and handpicked at the DeFischer Fruit Farm in Rochester." Because multiple different apples were sourced for the making of the cider, the drink boasts a distinct cherry red color, along with a taste that strikes the perfect balance between fine tannins and sweet fruit.
