Benefiting employees who are pet owners, digital marketing agency Nina Hale goes beyond traditional maternity and paternity leave programs to offer a 'Fur-ternity Leave’ option for staff. The Minneapolis-based company grants new pet parents access to paid absences in an effort to offer a more personal structure for benefits and employee perks.
"Part of embracing employee satisfaction as a business priority means recognizing important life events that happen outside of the office," said Nina Hale CEO Donna Robinson. With its newest initiative, the company gives employees the opportunity to work from home for up to a week when welcoming new pets into their homes -- ultimately stressing employees' growing desire for flexibility and understanding from their workplace.
