Nike and Tom Sachs have collaborated in producing a lightweight tote that can withstand the rigorous elements of space travel.

The product in question is the brand's latest iteration of its NIKECraft collection -- a collaborative product line inspired by space travel and astronauts. The futuristic looking tote is comprised of a strong yet flexible fabric called dyneema, that's estimated to be five times stronger than steel. The material also has the capability to float in water, making it appropriate to protect its contents against the unpredictable and unforgiving environments in space.

The Nike and Tom Sachs tote has already sold out and was crafted with the intention of sparking creativity, while promoting the collaboration which highlights the "scientification" of everyday objects.
