90s-Style Activewear Collabs

Nike and Serena Williams' Collection Spotlights NYC-Based Designers

Nike and Serena Williams are releasing a collaboration designed by the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) apprenticeship and the first iteration shares the work of talent based in New York City. The partnership between Nike and Williams was devised to "promote diversity in design and establish a new generation of design talent at Nike and beyond."

This collection takes cues from 90s style and it includes not just colorful activewear styles but also streetwear and footwear. There are chunky heels, platform sandals and low-top sneakers from the collection, and it offers a fresh take with designs that offer elements of performance wear and casual style.

Next up, Nike and Serena Williams will be focusing on talent from Chicago in the upcoming collection.
