Go, go Power Rangers -- in the new Power Rangers movie that is. Lionsgate and Saban Brands have just announced that they will be bringing back the iconic crime fighting squad to a theater near you. The news was announced this morning after a 17-year-hiatus.

The movie will draw in all types of audiences, young and old, because the franchise sprawled out over 20 years and thus had a strong presence in many childhoods. Hopefully, it will now mighty-morph many more in the years to come.

The plot of the film has yet to be revealed, but rumor has it there may be a green ranger introduced into the group along with a PG-13 storyline.
