Walmart is continuing its efforts to attract a wealthier clientele, which is why the chain is introducing a new personal shopping service that's enabling "high net worth urban consumers" to make purchases through text messages.
According to the brand, the service will put an emphasis on "the curation of aspirational and highly relevant products." Household items purchased through the service will be delivered to one's doorstep for free, and within 24 hours. The purchasing of other items will result in a delivery time of two days. To make matters even more consumer-focused, the brand will pick-up unwanted return items from one's apartment building or house.
This personal shopping service would be the latest attempt from the brand to attract a higher end clientele.
