Eccentric Eyewear

Two inventors, James Sooy and Oliver Gibson, have created the first Pierced Glasses. By simply piercing the top of your nose, you can attach a nice hinge in your head for mounting glasses.
When the inventors were interviewed about whether the pierced glasses are crazy, they suggested, "Paying ... to have someone cut your eyes and shoot a laser in them (just so you don't have to wear glasses) seems extreme to me:" Okay...
