The New Balance ML574 was recently debuted, and the sportswear brand decided to promote it with an editorial that's rife with nostalgic imagery that takes consumers back in time. The brand joined with Deadstock to create the editorial, honoring the legacy of the silhouette by showing it beside some of the retro tech that was around when it was conceived.
In addition to honoring the legacy of the silhouette, the decision to show the sneakers with the old Apple Mac products gives the images a minimalist and monochromatic look. This is due to the muted colorways that the sneakers boast, with hues of gray, cream, and beige comprising them.
