In 2018, the Neutrogena Skin360 app and companion SkinScanner were introduced, offering a unique new way for people to look and analyze their skin up-close. In the time since the smart skincare technology was introduced, smartphone cameras have become even more powerful and at CES 2020, Neutrogena is introducing a new and improved version of its Skin360 app that needs only a phone's front-facing camera.
The app uses selfies to give users a score between one to 10 on various areas of the face, based on any dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles detected. With this information, users are given a goal to work towards, plus an eight-week skincare routine to follow daily.
