Illustrator Hiroo Isono has created a gorgeous series of nature-inspired drawings based on his travels to various forests and jungles.

The bulk of Isono's work depicts nature as an incredibly serene, but strong force. The forest and jungles are so full of life and the animals who inhabit his drawings are in complete harmony with one another. When one looks at these drawings, it's hard to believe they're inspired by real places, especially for those of us who have ever only lived in cities. While these nature illustrations are beautiful to simply look at, they also stir up emotions in the viewer of wanting to preserve such beautiful places which we're slowly losing.
