In honor of National Flip Flop Day, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is holding an unusual promotion. Although summer may not have officially arrived, this promotion gives consumers a great reason to dig out their favorite pair of flip flops.

On Friday, June 17th, Tropical Smoothie cafe will be giving away free 24-ounce Jetty Punch Smoothies to those wearing flip flops. The promotion is running from 2 PM to 7 PM, meaning consumers have plenty of time to claim their free drink. Although there is no purchase required for consumers to redeem their complimentary smoothie, the chain is accepting donations for Camp Sunshine, which is a camp that hosts kids with life-threatening illnesses.

While National Flip Flop day may not be the biggest holiday of the season, this promotion provides a great reason to celebrate.
