For those unfamiliar, Sheetz is an American chain of convenience stores and coffee shops, most of which are attached to gas stations. These stores make the perfect pit stop when you get the road-trip munchies and now you can grab a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich made with waffles.
The new dish consists of a homestyle chicken fillet smothered in a spicy Nashville hot sauce and drizzled with maple syrup. The chicken is then sandwiched between two toasted waffles for a sweet and spicy sandwich combo.
