Pack your bags we are going to Mars! Hey, it's not a joke because NASA plans to build a solar-powered base on the moon and use it as a launch point for missions to Mars.

After the initial trips, astronauts will take 180-day missions to prepare for longer voyages to Mars. In fact, researchers have showed that Mars has flowing water on its surface, and that significantly increased the possibility of life on the planet.

Implications - NASA is preparing to launch from to moon to get to MARS. The government agency has intentions of building a solar base on the moon to facilitate voyage to Mars. "NASA can learn to use the moon's natural resources to live off the land," the space agency said in a press statement.
