The 'Moon Rover' Supports Living and Working on the Moon

The 'Moon Rover' lunar terrain vehicle (LTV) has been designed by the Lunar Outpost in partnership with Lockheed Martin as a vehicle that would support everyday life on the lunar surface.

The vehicle was also designed with the help of General Motors (GM), MDA Space and the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company to culminate the best features that each brand could bring. The vehicle boasts a fight deck-forward design to provide expansive views of the surrounding landscape, which is key for navigating the demanding lunar surface.

The 'Moon Rover' lunar terrain vehicle (LTV prioritizes an autonomous operation and navigation to easily function with or without astronauts onboard to work well for commercial purposes. The vehicle is rated to operate in temperatures down to -280-degrees Fahrenheit.
