Nailmate Nail Holder Keeps Fingers Clear While Hammering Nails
References: behance.net
The Nailmate nail holder is a handheld positioning tool designed to hold a nail upright while keeping the user’s fingers safely away from the hammer’s impact zone. The Nailmate nail holder is made from ABS plastic with a TPU rubber gripping head that secures the nail shaft without clamps, springs, or moving parts. Its elongated body increases the distance between the user’s hand and the hammer strike area, helping reduce the risk of striking fingers during basic carpentry tasks.
The design by Hargun Kaur is available in three color-coded versions intended for different working conditions. The red Stable version is meant for flat surfaces such as boards or wall panels, while the teal Expanded version supports nails in situations where a vertical hammer swing is limited. A yellow Precise version is designed for curved edges or awkward surfaces where positioning a nail can be difficult. The tool also includes a hanging hole for storage on a workshop hook.
