Hip-Hop Music Networks

BroadbandTV's Opposition Network Features Various Content Partners

BroadbandTV, a technology company and multi-channel network based in Vancouver, Canada, is launching a music network called Opposition, which is focused on hip-hop music and culture.

Opposition will see BroadbandTV partnering with YouTube channel Twista and producers Jahlil Beats, 1500 or Nothin' and Statik Selektah. Unsurprisingly for a network that revolves around hip-hop, Opposition's brand partners will include the likes of WorldStarHipHop and All Hip Hop All The Time.

The network will focus on promoting emerging talent as well as established artists, in the hopes of creating "a strong online video presence for fans to interact."

BroadbandTV already has well over 300 million subscribers across all its YouTube networks, making it one of the largest media networks on the video website. This means the network has its finger on the pulse of media and music culture, and it will be fascinating to see how Opposition performs.
