The Black Professionals in Tech Network Debuted the ‘Obsidi by BPTN’

February is Black History month, and 'The Black Professionals in Tech Network' has launched the ‘Obsidi by BPTN.’ As mentioned in the article, “Obsidi is a marketplace that helps to bridge this network gap by connecting a robust community of Black career growers and job seekers with corporate executives seeking to support, hire and retain Black talent.”

Through Obsidi, the goal is to create opportunities for the members of the Black community to enter into the tech industry, reiterating the theme “Be Seen. Be Connected.” This platform creates an easily accessible space where people can get support through peer networking, uploading resumes, and providing career development resources and programming. Through programming, platforms, and networks like Obsidi, new workers can join a more diverse and equal workspace.
