Japan's Family Mart Now Sells Colorful Instagram-Friendly Drinks

Family Mart in Japan is now selling a pair of multi-colored drinks that specifically target social media users with their bright aesthetics and high degree of shareability.

Inside their takeaway cups, the Galactica Grape and Fantasy Peach frappes are uniquely frozen into forms that have hollowed-out centers, so that fresh liquid can be added from the same machines used for dispensing coffee at Family Mart locations. The Galactica Grape variety is paired with an orange and lemon sauce, which adds a tangy flavor and visual interest to the chilled beverage.

To encourage customers to share their colorful beverage creations to social media, Family Mart started a hashtag for its new multi-colored drinks and also offers a series of special frappe stickers through the photo app Snow.
