Photographer and graphic designer Christian Werner has an eye for the surreal and he turns motorcycle covers into strangely beautiful sculptures in his 'Undercover' photography series.
Finding hidden motorcycles throughout urban neighborhoods, Werner photographs the shrouded vehicles, capturing their forlorn appearance as they stand alone, covered in a layer of dust as if they have been abandoned and forgotten. Taken out of context, some don't even look like motorcycles, rather like strange lumps of fabric that has been crumpled up and arranged on a street corner like some sort of abstract artwork.
In his 'Undercover' series, Christian Werner puts motorcycle covers in the limelight, portraying them as sculptural installations instead of just motorbike protector sheaths.
