The Motel 6 redesign is probably the most shocking thing to come across my screen in a long time. The reason it is so shocking is because it doesn't look that bad--in fact, it looks stylish.

Taking their inspiration from the Scandinavian style of design (hello, IKEA!), the Motel 6 redesign in Santa Barbara was executed by London design firm Priestmangoode. This redesign proves that even though you are on a budget, you don't have to skimp on style when you travel.
