Home Studios Renovates the Lodge at Marconi Hotel

Brooklyn-based design firm Home Studios transforms the conference center into the renovated Lodge at Marconi. Located in Northern California, the luxe hotel rests on a 62-acre location in the Marconi State Historic Park. It is specifically designed for Oliver Hospitality, which is a company based in Nashville.

The location of the hotel takes over a historic space created by Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of the radio in 1896. The design team led by Oliver Haslegrave speaks about the influence and design notion, stating "Home Studios found inspiration in the property's storied history – particularly in the pioneering spirit of Guglielmo Marconi, who worked with a New York-based engineering company to build the property's initial building, a luxury hotel, in 1914."
