I know when to hold'em, i know when to fold'em, i know when to walk away, i know when to run.
What is unique that's not in your bio?
i like shepherd's pie. i like long walks on the beach, and getting caught in the rain. I like the color blue. I am an Aquarius, and I really like Liza Minnelli.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
getting the balls to quit my job when i knew it was time to leave. reaching 1,000 trends even though I though my eyes were going to fall out of my head.
How do you define cool?
cool is when you do something, and you don't care what anyone else thinks. cool is when a product first comes out, and mainstream sees it, and hates it. Only to grow to love it a year or two later, when it is no longer cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
looking for things that i think are cool/silly/bizarre. the weirder, or inane something is, the more fun it is to write..
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
being able to write about things that I think are rad, in my own voice.
What is your favorite trend?
the star wars/a-team mashup stands out. and anything to do with bacon.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
follow your gut. and make it as authentic to who you are as possible. and if you can get 10 images, get 10 images.
How do you reset to be creative?
hot yoga. hot yoga. and hot yoga. And when I am not working on my Trend Hunter stuff, I stay as far away from it as possible.
What inspires or excites you?
not having any clue of what will happen next.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
alien invaders will become our overlords, prepare for enslavement.
