Netherrealm Studios Unveiled a Teaser for 'Mortal Kombat 1'

Netherrealm Studios, the game development studio most known for the Mortal Kombat franchise, posted a short teaser trailer for its next game. The trailer shows a clock moving from the 9th to 11th hour, then getting stuck at 11 and jumping past 12 back to 1. This trailer is showcasing that Mortal Kombat is not continuing from the previous release, 11, and is instead re-booting the franchise once again with a new game simply titled 'Mortal Kombat.'
In addition to Mortal Kombat being rebooted, the game is confirmed to feature two DLC characters from the DC universe planned already. Given that Netherrealm Studios has worked with DC in the past on full-scale fighting games, such as Mortal Kombat vs DC, or Injustice, these DLC characters are expected.
