The creation of Moonberry wine and its packaging is a beautiful example of how gift giving should be. The creative agency Moon Troops of Lithuania set out to make special edition wines as presents for their clients at Christmastime, determined to carry out as handmade a method as possible.
Sourcing locally produced raspberry wine, the team set out to design mystical and earthy packaging. Fine cherry wood was used for the labels, decorated in a digitally illustrated landscape that features an antlered deer and a dark moon. Additional stickers were applied by hand, and the pine gift boxes were hand-stained and stencilled. Moon Troops' making of Moonberry wine emphasizes what a treasure handmade items are, especially in an age when so many manufacturers offer custom orders and consequently minimal effort.
