The Moon Glass by Tale Co. is Simple and Whimsical

The Moon Glass is a charming cup that is inspired by the monthly lunar phase. Thankfully, it doesn’t take a month for the special design to unveil itself. Instead, a person need only to fill it up with traditional rice wine (or any sort of liquid, preferably something light and noticeable), and drink it in one sitting. The more sips taken, the more the design is revealed.

Conceived and created by Korean design studio Tale Co., the Moon Glass features a subtle slope within that mimics the phases of the moon. When full, the sake represents a full moon. As it is slowly drunk, the liquid forms a half moon and then a crescent moon. The Moon Glass is simple and whimsical.
