Monarch Legacy Edition from TIlaknagar is Arriving in India

The Monarch Legacy Edition has been announced by Tilaknagar as a luxury take on the spirit that's positioned to help expand its reach in the industry and provide consumers with a decidedly high-end option to try out. The spirit is claimed by the brand to be the only 100% pure grape brandy crafted with both French and Indian grape spirits, which results in a high-quality final product. The product is distilled in Shrirampur near Nashik, the wine capital of India, and is done so in coal-fired pot stills before being aged for eight years in French oak casks.

Chairman and Managing Director Amit Dahanukar commented on the Monarch Legacy Edition saying, "Brandy is India’s second most-consumed spirit category, yet it remains under-recognised in the luxury segment. As leaders in brandy with decades of experience and many successful brands under our cap, we wanted to redefine this perception. The launch of Monarch marks a bold step towards elevating Indian brandy to a global benchmark, echoing the remarkable success of Indian whiskies and gins on the world stage.”
