Home owners Elisabeth Davies and Seth Rodewald-Bates recently put together a modular home design made from repurposed shipping containers to create a sustainable abode using ready made structures. The home is comprised of four metallic containers joined together to create an environmentally friendly and livable space.
The home offers 750-square feet of space with the four containers custom cut and pieced together to create the abode. The home features a minimalistic design with a bungalow layout and 14-foot ceilings. The various containers are connected to create joining rooms and provide the structure of the space with sturdy walls and shape. while transparent polycarbonate panels are used to provide windows to the space. Added luxe features such as marble countertops and top-of-the-line appliances were added to create a homey and livable atmosphere.
