Local studio Schemata Architects created a modern modular office for Tokyo-based record label Toy's Factory. The site is situated in a building with sizable windows that "overlooks a five-way road junction in the Shibuya district." Schemata Architects created a playful interior with subtle hits of color — from pastel green to vibrant yellow, which poses a design-forward juxtaposition with the industrial finishes and metallic aesthetic of the ceiling.
In the spirit of their client, Schemata Architects created the modern modular office with movable furniture as well. Because of this, Toy's Factory can easily rearrange its interior to fit the pressing needs of the business or the employees, giving a certain flexibility and adaptability not only in the design but also for the interrelations of the office.
