In an effort to capitalize on the growing number of Muslim travelers visiting Japan, Miyako International Tourist Co. in Osaka has started offering specialty tours. Designed "to offer a sense of safety and peace of mind," the Muslim-friendly tours make it easier for Muslim travelers to explore all that Japan has to offer.
Miyako International Tourist Co.'s Muslim-friendly tours take visitors to many of Japan's most popular cities, including Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. In addition to stopping at major tourist attractions, the tours also include visits to mosques and halal-friendly restaurants. Each tour is also accompanied by an attendant who adheres to Islam and many of the company's staff speak both Arabic and Malay.
With Muslim tourism on the rise, these specialty tours help to fill an important gap in the market.
