The MixAr app is a brilliant invention that allows people who are not computer programers to create their own augmented reality content. The app is available for the iPhone, allowing you to create you AR content on the go.
The goal behind the MIxAr app, developed by Hololabs, is to make augmented reality accessible to everyone. The project was launched on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform and has just reached its funding goal.
The designers state that the MixAR app lets "you [...] make and save your own simple 3D models and icons... assign them to markers, place them in scenes together, and film or photograph your scenes in order to share with the world. All this can be done using just your phone!"
