The minimalist soccer team logos by Amer Amin and Manara are an iconic, if not symbolic, representation of the transformational roots of team crests.
The two artists, from Manara Design Studio in Palestine, create several dozen team logos with a minimalist focus and use simple vector shapes to capture the essence of each team. The team crests -- from the Premier League in England to the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A -- are stripped down to their foundational essentials and the most noticeable icons of each. The likes of Manchester United and FC Barcelona, for example, feature the devil's staff and a ship, in a nod to the Ship Canal and local rivers, while the flag of Catalonia and the St George Cross adorn the crest respectively.
The minimalist soccer team logos are all drawn against a backdrop of the team's main color and depicted like a flag, with each crest placed directly in the middle. Any of these designs would be a collector's item for a flag or a poster for the living room.
