Recycled Mini Golf Courses

Lab La Bla Made a Miniature Golf Course with Denim & Wine Corks

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Malmö studio Lab La Bla unveiled Surface Club, a miniature golf course and bar made from waste materials. At the event, Surface Club was one of the two design bars were visitors could relax and enjoy refreshments, and it incorporated thoughtfully recycled materials and details like wall panels made from recycled Tetra Paks. The repurposed materials are easy to spot within the design since the denim waste coating has a blue hue and the orange stripes came from old wine corks ground into a powder.

This community-focused space was created to encourage play and connection and help reserved event-goers get out of their shells. "Making a mini-golf course lets people gather, we have these shy Swedes and then having a sports activity to hide behind is a nice little icebreaker," Lab La Bla co-founder Axel Landström told Dezeen.
