Photographer, designer and Barbie fan Michael Williams has painstakingly created miniature Jonathan Adler environments for Barbie, Ken and friends with his 'Haute Dollhouse.'
Coincidentally, Jonathan Adler is designing furniture for Mattel and Barbie this year as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, which will be out later this year.
Implications - Those who played with Barbie in her classic form as children have reached adulthood and likely stopped playing with the tall, blonde doll; however, these adult consumers have yet to let go of the feminine, elegant, and glamorous ideals that Barbie instilled in her fans.
