Microsoft is Integrating Teams into its Outlook Email Service

The integration of Microsoft Teams chat into Outlook is intended to provide an easy way for meeting organizers and participants to discuss a meeting in real time. In addition, Microsoft is planning to include Teams messages in search results in Outlook on the web. This feature is currently planned for a February release, alongside a number of smaller feature updates to Teams.

Microsoft has been making a number of improvements to Teams, including scheduled send the ability to generate instant polls in meetings, and even an unread toggle that allows users to return messages to unread, even if they have been read, which helps in reminding users to return to messages at a later date. The integration of Teams chat into Outlook is another step in the company's efforts to improve its productivity and cloud services.
