Microsoft continues to build on its notion of integrating AI into its products and other factors, including Copilot features. This will be implemented in more sections of Teams within the upcoming months including the meeting chat and the chat compose box.
The technology will be able to help users form insights and information from the meeting and capture the transcript -- this captures both written and spoken words. In terms of bringing Copilot technology to the message compose box, the AI will help create a drafted message depending on the custom prompt. When users want to add a call to action, they can also ask Copilot to do so and there are plans to generate a new message by drawing context from the chat.
