Microsoft is Aiming to Add a 'Copilot Key' to Windows Keyboards

The Copilot key is a new feature that Microsoft is adding to its Windows keyboards, starting from February 2024. The Copilot key is a dedicated AI button that allows users to summon Microsoft’s AI companion, Copilot, with a single press. Copilot is an intelligent chatbot that can help users with various tasks, such as answering complex questions, summarizing and rewriting texts, explaining concepts, and connecting with other apps and services.

Copilot is powered by Bing Chat AI, a conversational AI platform that leverages natural language understanding, knowledge graphs, and deep learning models. Copilot can also integrate with first and third-party plugins, such as Office 365, Spotify, Netflix, and more, to provide a seamless and personalized experience. Copilot is currently available on Windows 10 and 11 devices, and users can also access it by pressing the Windows + C keys together. However, the Copilot key aims to make the AI companion more accessible and convenient for users.
