Samsung Electronics has long been ahead of the curve when it comes to microSD cards, but the company continues to push the envelope with the introduction of the 'PRO Ultimate' microSD card, which offers market-leading performance, speed, efficiency and physical protection.
The 'PRO Ultimate' microSD card is available in capacities of up to 512 GB along with a spectacular read speed that can touch 200 mbps. Elsewhere, these microSD cards are waterproof up to two meters deep for up to 72 hours, and can handle drops at heights of five meters or less. What's more, they can also operate in temperatures ranging from -25 degrees C all the way up to a scorching 85 degrees.
Hangu Sohn, vice president of the memory brand product business team over at Samsung Electronics, stated that the advent of this futuristic storage solution was driven by a knowledge of the increasing volume of high-resolution content that creators increasingly work with and need to transfer seamlessly. “As creators rely on high speed and performance of the memory cards, the new Samsung PRO Ultimate significantly reinforces such needs through enhanced controller technologies and multi-proof protection features," Sohn said.
