Recently, Trend Hunter featured a broad array of celebrity action figures. But the concept is actually a revitalization of action figures from days past.
Check out this strange advert selling the Michael Jackson action figure. But I guess it may not have been that strange back then.
It is so living in the 1980’s and from my recollection was not alone in being a terrifying toy advert.
His feet got the beat, he is cool and he is neat, Hey Michael
I am particularly fond of the shameful added branding and album mentions - and of course the children chiming “I love you Michael Jackson” at the end.
