French artists JR and Andre meet up at Art Basel 2012 and created a Miami Design District mural.
The large-scale black and white piece merged both the artists' specialties. JR is known for his eyeball prints and Andre is known for his playful graffiti style; the two partnered up and were able to create a cohesive piece that is visually stimulating. The boys focused on the large white wall and utilized the blank architectural element to harmoniously fuse their techniques and manifest a lingering art work. The main focus of the mural is the giant eyeball stick figure character that literally combines JR's signature eyeball and Andre's squiggly characters.
The Miami Design District mural was a random collaboration that makes an impact and demonstrates a successful integration of art styles.
