Ska Brewing, a Durango, Colorado-based brewery that is inspired the style and sensibilities of the genre of music with which it shares its name, is launching the latest and greatest version of Mexican Logger, its much-heralded Mexican-style lager.
This particular Mexican-style lager doesn't merely attempt to mimic the easy-drinking and summer-friendly traits of lagers crushed on a regular basis in Mexico, but actually manages to use a lager yeast strain from Mexico City itself, adding to its credentials. Cold fermented for a refreshing and clean taste, the Mexican Logger comes in at five percent ABV (alcohol by volume), making it the ideal beverage for easygoing summer sipping.
Officially inaugurated during a spring launch party that featured a musical performance by local band The Lawn Chair Kings, the introduction of Mexican Logger well and truly heralds sun-kissed daydrinking season.
