What JesseJames did was pull the first letter of the brand's name, making a welcoming workstation from that. A giant M shape was developed to express the strong identity of this leading Cape Town business; this was rendered in a practical way to make it both functional and emblematic. With CNC routing of flat panel components, the MetropolitanRepublic Reception Desk was built up through an interlocking stacked assembly. It serves as a substantial yet permeable screen with a single work surface at the back.
